Interview Process

Recruiter Screen

In the first step in the interview process, you’ll speak with our team in a 30-minute call about what you’ve worked on, level expectations, and you’ll hear about DoorDash and our interview process.

Coding Technical Phone Screen

For most roles, you’ll work on a 1-hour coding session with a DoorDash software engineer, guiding our engineer throughout the call on your thought process each step of the way.

Onsite Interview

Depending on your level of experience, in the onsite phase of our interview process, you’ll work through coding, design and domain knowledge, and you’ll be asked behavioral style questions.

What to expect when you join the team

Upon starting here, you’ll receive a broad introduction to our organization, technologies, and tools. You’ll also be introduced to back end, mobile, and web development basics at DoorDash, setting you up for success and opening doors for future career growth.
