Sr. Associate, Platform Digital Growth - Strategy & Operations

About the team

The Platform team is DoorDash’s hyper-growth business segment that aims to revolutionize the first-party experience for Merchants and their Customers. The DoorDash Platform encompasses the full suite of DoorDash’s first-party products, including digital ordering, delivery fulfillment, and voice ordering. Our Platform empowers Merchants to reach and retain their Customers while maintaining their unique brand identity.

As part of the Enterprise Digital Ordering team within Platform, you’ll focus on building products and driving adoption to transform the first-party digital experiences that Restaurants offer their Customers. By leveraging DoorDash’s scale, we help Restaurants that adopt our Custom Website and Native App offerings by providing products that increase traffic and conversion rates. You’ll tackle complex operational challenges, define strategic initiatives, and collaborate closely with our largest and most strategic clients to enhance their digital experiences and drive exponential growth for the Platform business.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Manager & GM for Enterprise Digital Ordering, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of the team. Your initial focus will be to build and own the infrastructure required to support massive growth in the Enterprise Digital Ordering business by partnering cross-functionally, winning prioritization of key projects, and creating structures that allow for smooth execution of key processes. As this infrastructure matures, your scope will expand to additional projects that help the Platform team build and drive adoption for digital ordering products in the Enterprise segment. 

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Services, Product, Engineering, Account Management, Finance, and counterparts in the SMB business to bring your vision to life. Your efforts will be crucial in bringing transformational first-party digital experiences to market for Enterprise Restaurants.

• Analyze: Leverage complex datasets and qualitative inputs to generate insights and recommendations. You will use data and experimentation to refine processes and drive measurable improvements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Communicate & Advocate: Represent the DoorDash brand with humility and a customer-first mindset. You will navigate ambiguous environments and provide structure for undefined opportunities by creating playbooks and templates.
