The Collaboration Services team builds solutions that enable collaboration across the company. We engineer and oversee identity management, build and manage client platforms, and implement and administer all enterprise tools in our environment. About the Role

The System Administrator III will align with changing business needs, IT strategy, compliance requirements, security guidelines, and standard policies to deliver architecture design, documentation, and communication of employee-facing IT solutions in a highly automated environment. This role involves working closely with colleagues, sharing knowledge, supervising delivery according to plan, and verifying the delivery.

This role reports to the System Engineering Manager and will require occasional travel for team events.

IT is a continuously changing landscape and the key responsibility of the system administrator III is to help us keep up with the changes.

  • Design and document IT architecture aligned with business needs, IT strategy, and compliance requirements of employee facing IT solutions that are aligned with business needs, IT strategy, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure architecture solutions meet security guidelines and standard policies.

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 4+ years of experience as an IT Engineer or System Administrator.
  • You have administrative experience with our tech stack: Atlassian, Gsuite, Okta, Slack, Tray.io.
  • You have Okta administration and workflow experience (certification preferred)
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong grasp of service management and identity management principles.
  • Work effectively within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong ability to explain technical concepts in layman's terms.
  • Expertise in designing and documenting IT architecture.
  • Understanding of corporate compliance, security, and risk functions.
  • Python knowledge.
    • I.e: using the Okta API in Python scripts to automate bulk actions such as group removal/additions, application assignment/unassignment, and creating rules
    • I.e: Using the Slack API in Python scripts to send/receive data to Slack
    • I.e: Python scripting for running automating reports
  • Ability to align with evolving business needs and industry standards.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
