DoorDash is looking for a hands-on builder and leader to play a pivotal role in building differentiated customer experiences as part of the Customer Growth team.
About the Role
The Strategy & Operations Manager role is for self-motivated, autonomous individuals who enjoy creating customer experiences leveraging both art and science, thrive on solving complex problems using both data and empathy, collaborate across the organization, and execute to bring strategies to life.
You will report into our Strategy & Operations Senior Manager on our Customer Growth team. This is a hybrid role with some time in-office and some time remote, ideally in Sydney or Melbourne.

- Strategise – Devise and execute operational strategies for consumer growth in DoorDash ANZ Marketplace
- Influence – Work cross-functionally with our local and international teams, such as Strategy & Operations, Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Engineering and Finance
- Experiment - Use a data-driven approach and deep market knowledge to identify improvement opportunities, run tests and make our business 1% better everyday
- Own & build - You will be responsible for cross-functional projects that drive volume growth, winning our three key customers: Consumers, Merchants, and Dashers
- Deliver impact - You will be given autonomy to lead initiatives and see quickly tangible results within our fast-paced business

- You are a generalist - you seek exposure to different types of problems, are strong commercially, technically and can motivate people at all levels across all functions
- You are a strategic thinker - you can own outcomes, quickly size opportunities, and have bias-to-action to make an impact on our most critical growth metrics
- You have 6+ years experience - in consulting / finance / strategy / operations / product / technology / analytics. High-growth or early-stage start-up experience is a plus.
- Proven analytical skills - you can leverage analytics and work with complex datasets to understand performance, optimize experience, drive decision-making, and measure outcomes. Advanced Excel skills are a must, and familiarity with SQL is preferred.
