When it comes to how we work at DoorDash, one size doesn’t fit all. We’ve listened to our employees and heard how they have optimized productivity with the flexibility to own their work/life balance. Rather than requiring employees to work in an office for a set number of days, we are recognizing that elements of both in-person and remote work will differ depending on how distributed each team is, and the nature of each team’s work. Click here to learn more about our commitment to supporting flexible work.
Some teams at DoorDash require a physical presence in an office or facility in order to do their jobs effectively, such as DoorDash Labs, DashMart, and DoorDash Kitchens, among others.
Most of our teams have embraced a flexible way of working, splitting their time between in-person collaboration at an office and working remotely. These employees are assigned to an office, but how often they come in depends on their team.
For some teams and specific roles, coming into the office is not required for their jobs. These employees are welcome to work remotely 100% of the time. And if they are near an office and want to come in, everyone’s welcome!
