The Strategy & Operations Associate role is for self-motivated, curious, and ownership-minded individuals who think through a customer-first lens, thrive on solving complex problems using data, collaborate across all levels of the organization, and execute their ideas efficiently.

The candidate will be a key contributor to the Merchandising COE, primarily responsible for building the merchandising customer experience for new business areas at DoorDash Canada. The scope may include supporting key marketplace campaigns, helping create the right experiences and strategies for customer growth, and leveraging data to optimize existing and new initiatives. Success will be measured on the ability to support and hit OKRs as they relate to the above.

This role will be part of the Customer Growth team and report to the Strategy & Operations Manager.

  • Strategize - Develop DoorDash's path to excellence using first principles & empathy, identify trends that emerge and know when to double down and when to try something new.
  • Experiment - Use data to run tests on everything from promotional campaigns to new in-app creative assets.
  • Analyze - Assess the operational and financial impacts of your decisions and iterate given insights. Continuously seek new improvements that can be made to the experience leveraging performance data. 
  • Collaborate - Work with a variety of teams including marketing, merchant, product, engineering, finance and analytics to execute on plans.

  • You are a self starter who is biased towards action and excels in a fast-paced environment and evolving business
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and bring structure, organization, and focus to your work and cross functional teams including product, marketing, finance, and legal
  • You are a problem solver and can identify the core problem and determine hypotheses with proposed solutions
  • You are comfortable using SQL to analyze data and create new data tables, are able to build dashboards to track key metrics, and can build high-level financial models
  • You have 2+ years of experience in strategy, operations, product, digital marketing, growth, investment banking, consulting or other related areas

Lo que conviene tener

  • You have merchandising / digital marketing / ads experience
  • You have experience using Figma to develop creative assets
